When it comes to zines, teamwork is necessary in order to achieve what is planned for these projects. That being said, zines take time and need mods who will be present throughout the stages of the project, all the way to completion.

All mods in this project are to be present throughout the duration of this zine.

All mods are given the opportunity to aid in the application process.

What is a zine?
A zine is a collection of fanworks, typically contain art and writing. These fanworks are self published into both physical booklets and digital pdfs. Zines typically are created within fandom spaces, by fans for fans!

What is a pitch?
A pitch is an overall idea for your piece! This term is often taken from Cinema where one would "pitch" the idea of their film or television series to a director. This is often a verbal or visual explanation of their idea! Similar to that notion, a pitch is just an idea that you have for this zine should you be accepted! They can be as detailed or as vague as you would like them to be!

Is this a charity or for-profit zine?
This project will be a charity zine. Our planned charity is AbleGamers!

Will there be a Digital Extension?
This is still a possibility, but will depend upon the number of applicants we receive.

Are AUs allowed?
Yes, Aus are allowed!

Are you accepting traditional art?
Yes, we will be allowing for traditional art! The files will need to be of higher resolution for our project. Sketches or grayscale art will be accepted for either traditional or digital art!

Will contributors and Mods receive a copy of the zine?
Both contributors and Mods will receive a physical zine for being a part of this zine!

Is it common for zine's to include other mediums that aren't just art, writing, or merch?
Upon looking at other zines, other mediums are not that common to be included, but it has occurred! Based on our Interest Check, other mediums will be featured in this zine. If you are interested in applying with other forms of media, please use our Alternative Mediums application here!

Will ships be allowed in the zine?
Based on our interest check, Ships will be allowed in the zine!

Will you be accepting other mods for this project?
Yes! We are looking to add an Art mod, Finance mod, Graphics mod, General Mod, Merch mod, Shipping mod, and a second Writer mod! Both finance mod and shipping mod can be filled for the same person! It is required for these two mods to be 18 or older. Other positions do not have this hard requirement!

Are Mods allowed to participate in the zine, or will they have to apply like a contributor
Mods will be allowed to participate in this zine if they wish to! The mods will not have to apply in order to partake in the zine!

Will there be an option for newsletter emails?
Yes, in our interest we will have a section you can give us your email. This is not required to fill out, but if you would like information when the project updates you can sign up for these!

If accepted for a mod position or a contributor position, will there be a place we can communicate?
Yes, all communications will be run through a discord server. You will be required to be a part of the server, so we recommend you make an account if you haven't already.
